Nous avons passé la fin d’année 2017 dans ce gîte exceptionnel.
Nous étions 2 couples d’amis.
Des prestations de qualité, confort, espace, propreté.
On se sent “comme à la maison” mais en mieux.
Le site est superbe et atypique.
L’hospitalité et les conseils de Claude pour les visites et sorties sont au top.
Merci de nous avoir permis de passer un si bon séjour même si ça c’est terminé par la grippe pour certains !

À l’occasion d’un séjour sportif (100km de Millau) entre amis (3 couples) nous avons séjourné 4 nuits à L’Armandine. Nous avons découvert un appartement spacieux et chaleureux. Les prestations sont de grandes qualités (literies, salles de bain, cuisine, …). L’implication de nos hôtes ne faisait aucun doute, tant par la propreté des lieux, que par la gentillesse et la bienveillance de Claude et son épouse! La Cavalerie est un joli petit village templiers, bien situé pour visiter la région (Millau, Roquefort, …) Pour une prochaine visite de la région, nous savons déjà où nous logerons! 😃

Avant tout nous voulons vous faire partager la qualité unique de nos hôtes. Gentillesse, discrétion et sourire !!! Et surtout leur envie de partager les secrets de cette région magnifique. Le gîte est remarquable, mêlant vieille pierre, histoire et un équipement contemporain de qualité. Une décoration raffinée. A découvrir absolument. Anne-Sophie, Christian et les enfants.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié séjourner dans ce gîte remarquablement restauré mêlant vieilles pierres et équipements contemporains. L’appartement en duplex est rénové avec beaucoup de goût et à l’aide de matériaux de belle qualité. Nous avons pu apprécier les qualités d’accueil de notre hôte mais aussi sa discrétion et sa gentillesse. Nous recommanderions fortement ce gîte à tel point que notre prochain séjour en Aveyron sera vraisemblablement dans ce dernier. A réserver les yeux fermés.

An outstanding property near the Gorges du Tarn

Our stay in this apartment was fantastic. Claude’s attention to detail is second to none, in terms of the décor in the refurbished apartment, the underfloor heating in the kitchen/living area and with the added touches, like the wine and foodie treats on arrival. Claude was a very friendly and helpful host, who assisted us with our planning of places to go and to eat. We used this base in La Cavalerie to explore the Gorges du Tarn area and the other Templar villages nearby, as well as the Roquefort Caves. We had a lovely last dinner out in Nant, which is only about 15km away. My girlfriends and I would highly recommend this accommodation for its cosy atmosphere, the warm welcome and its proximity to many different beautiful tourist destinations

A unique setting and wonderful host!

We have stayed in many apartments over the years and I have to say that this one is among the best! Our welcome included a bottle of wine and some homemade treats which were delicious. The accommodations are lovely. Such a unique setting built right into the the town’s ramparts. It has been beautifully restored with the old beams and original stone exposed yet it has every modern convenience. One other thing that we really liked was that it was easy to find. As soon as you see the wall, you know you’re there. After being lost many times in the past while trying to find other places we have rented, this was a welcome change! It is also close to the A75 so getting around is easy. Claude is an incredible host. He makes you feel right at home and is available whenever you have a question. He was very helpful about things to see in the area, places to eat as well as more practical things like how to use the washing machine. There were maps and brochures available as well. We enjoyed the local restaurant in the Hotel de la Poste. If you go, try the aligot, made from mashed potatoes blended with butter, cream, crushed garlic, and the melted cheese and served with sausage. There are many interesting towns worth visiting in the area as well as the Millau Viaduct and the Roquefort caves. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 3 nights. For anyone visiting this area of France, why would you stay anywhere else? I certainly hope that I get a chance to visit again.

Nous louons ce gîte douillé et magnifiquement rénové pour la 2 ème fois à cette période. Claude et son épouse sont des propriétaires d’une gentillesse et d’un tact hors pair. Inutile de préciser que notre point de chute dans la région est tout trouvé !

Spectacular accomodation in magnificent setting

This is the best of all worlds – very modern with all the amenities you could ever need including wonderfully stocked kitchen, great beds, great access as well as spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Owner speaks great English so no barriers for those with limited French. The town of La Cavalerie has restaurants and bakeries and a convenient grocery store. Easy access to everything off A75. If you like history, castles, Templars, the outdoors, French bread and great hospitality you will love L’Armandine and Claude. We had an unforgettably great time!!

Ce grand appartement est tout simplement fabuleux. On a tout adoré: la gentillesse du propriétaire, l’appartement propre et magnifiquement restauré, sa situation dans le Larzac. La boulangerie est à moins de 1 minute de marche. Idéalement situé tout près de Millau et tout près des cités templières. On ne peut trouver mieux, aucun point négatif! Allez-y, vous ne le regretterez pas!
